Lovely old antique organ made by B Shoninger, New Haven,USA.

Enscripted on the organ is the wording "Made for R Duffield ,Petersham,Aus

The organ was made in late 1800's Another fine example of work produced by B Shoninger, absolute stunning details of handy work in all the carved panels doors and trims. There are many beautiful features about this piece and is still in great condition for its age. All keys work except for one key, they are execptional good not to yellow and no cracks, The bellows will need to be fixed. The pull stops are in good condition. There are two square platforms that fold down next to the music sheets, doors open easily at the bottom, the lid hinges are fine. Slightly dusty may need a good polish with orange oil which will return the lustre to the timber. There are scratches & bumps from general usage quite reasonable for it's age.
